- I am a textile artist and owner of The Thread Studio. I am passionate about all areas of textile art and try to be as cutting edge as I can. I enjoy machine and hand stitching, developing ideas using a needle felting machine and playing and experimenting with all manner of textiley stuff. I have been a teacher for many years and run a number of on-line and in the flesh workshops. Check out the website - Hot Needles, Cool Stitches and Ratty Tatty Papers are both available for enrolment. I have also been running The Holey Moley Club which is nearly finished forever. In 2012 I will be running a number of hands-on workshops in my studio. Means I have to keep it clean. I have a new booklet 'Let's Play with Sari Ribbon' just arrived and another on the sampling table. And I am a passionate All Black supporter - some would call that a tragedy..... But wait - the Super 15 Rugby competition is just about to start and while I do not like the coach and wish he would go away, I am still a passionate Hurricanes supporter.

I never liked the Ning interface so I am glad you are moving this to a blog.
I never used Ning much either, but I think this idea will work. Thanks Dale.
